Colorado welcomes O'Leary's Irish Diamond .
            Irish arrivesat High Prairie's Westmanton Stables
              3/7/01 Parker Colorado .  America's most competitiveIrish Draught Stallion is now in the hands of highly regarded internationalcompetitor Grant Schneidman.  Schneidman a former member of the UnitedStates Equestrian Team will work with his wife Sharon Schneidman, aninternational accomplished dressage rider,  in hopes of developing Irish as a top international dressage horse.  The Schneidmans moved their trainingfacility to the Western United States most highly regarded equestrian facilitythree years ago.
    The High Prairie facility is not only Colorado's most prestigious training facility, it is one of the largest show facilities in the United States.   Nearly 140 of the top horses in the Western United States are in trainingat the expansive facility.  The facility hosts some of the larger equestrianevents in the western United States.    With more than 300permanent show stalls and another 700 temporary stalls High Prairie has beenknown for hosting very successful international competitions show jumpingand dressage.
              It is hoped that the exposure to very tough  competition will help prepare O'Leary's Irish Diamond for competition against some of the best horses inthe world.
              O'Leary's Irish Diamond has proved himself as one of the top stallions ofany breed in the sport of dressage.   The Irish Warm blood Stallion has won four dressage championships in second and third level dressage competition.   He is the only Irish stallion in the United States that has been performance tested in the US by the Irish Horse Board before receiving entry into the Irish Horse Board Stud Book.    No other Irish Stallion has come close to matching his successes in the dressage arena.

Colorado is rapidly earning respect as one of theleading equestrian competition centers in the United States.   From CDIdressage shows to grand prix show jumping the center attracts not only thousandsof horses it attracts thousands of spectators each year.
           
              For O'Leary's Irish Diamond it means a heated barn and  arena duringthe winter months.   In the summer, he enjoys acres of arenas with what many consider the best footing in the US
  One can see the main barn to the right where Irish resides.
   There are two indoor arenas and numerous outdoor arenas.
   



















Irish impresses many, What breed is he?    International Judge Linda Zang, recently, was another of many to ask what breed was O'Leary's Irish Diamond.  Zang said he was an "interesting horse."  She asked if he was breeding and then suggested he should be a good crosswith lighter mares.
