Many considered Grey Curragong one of the top Irish Draught Mares in Ireland.  She was a very athletic mare with excellent movement.  She was by the Conqueror who is by Flagmount Boy. Flagount Boy was the first Irish Draught Stallion to be performance tested in Ireland.  Flagmount Boy was a very good jumper ridden by John Hall.  Unfortunately, Flagmount Boy died in a freak accident.  He was by King of Diamonds out of Gowran Betty.  King of Diamonds produced two great sires  with Gowran Betty.  Flagmount Diamond the other great sire from this pair is the sire of Hopes are High.  He is one of England's top jumpers.
